Here are some tools and tutorials I found useful in learning HTML and building my web site.

What is HTML?

HTML Stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. This is the name of the format for web pages. HTML consists of text and special items called tags, which tell the browser how to display the page, add graphics, and generate links to other web pages.

A Beginner's Guide to HTML

DO-IT Guidelines for Web Pages. This site offers guidelines on making web pages which are accessible to those with handicaps or with minimal browsers.

Willcam's Comprehensive HTML Cross Reference. This site offers several forms of indexes to HTML tags, from complete to compact.

How do they do that with HTML? This site contains a tutorial and tips on generating some of the flashier effects.

Crash Course in HTML. This site contains tutorials in Java and Java Script as well as HTML.

HTML Goodies. A very flashy site.

HTML Quick Reference from the University of Kansas.
